PLEASE MAKE YOUR PLANE AND HOTEL RESERVATIONS EARLY. SAVANNAH IS A HOT
TOURIST SPOT. TO SET THE BEST AIRFARES, BOOK EARLY. TO SET THE CONFERENCE RATES AT
HOMEWOOD SUITES. YOU NEED TO BOOK 30 DAYS IN ADVANCE.
The staff at the
Homewood
Suites is looking forward to your coming. The
hotel is an easy taxi ride from the airport. If you are driving in via I –16, take
the Lynes Parkway east exit. This will end at DeRenne. You will pass Montgomery Street,
White Bluff Road, and the next light will be Abercorn. (Abercorn is the primary
north-south Corridor in Savannah). Make a right turn (heading south) onto Abercorn. You
will see a strip mall named Twelve Oaks on your left. You will pass an Office Max and
Hollywood Video on your right. You will see the sign for Homewood Suites on your right. If
you miss it and get to the next light, which is Lee Blvd., just make a right turn onto
Lee, and then a right onto White Bluff and enter the property from the White Bluff
entrance.
If you are coming from 1-95,take 204 north into Savannah. (This is
Abercorn Street, the primary north-south corridor). After you pass Montgomery Crossroads
(K-Mart. Pep Boys. Bay Mount Inn), get into the left lane of Abercorn. You will pass Books
a Million. Service Merchandise. McDonalds, and Burger King on your right. You will pass
Office Depot. Kinko's. Party City and Best Buy on your left. The next light is White Bluff
Road. Take a left (going diagonally left onto White Bluff - Wall Mart will be on the right
side of White Bluff). You will be riding parallel to Hunter Army Airfield ... going north
towards downtown. You will pass Eisenhower, Stephenson, and Lee Blvd. After you pass Lee
Blvd before you get to DeRenne, you will see the sign for Homewood Suites on your right.
Make a right turn into the property.
